I love it because my thighs don't rub together. My husbamd doesn't really appreciate that tho. But I just can't find them for women. Even if I buy women's boxers those thinga are still so short it's not much different then normal pants and I still have the rubbing thighs problem. Especially when its hot, men boxers are really great. 😭😭😭 at least I'm already married and don't need to think about "when the right moment strikes" as Chisato said turning red🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, I would have to agree that from what I've seen, boxers made for women generally look really uncomfortable, much more so than panties probably are for you gals.

Plus our boxers are designed to be so much "breezier" as general rule, that extra airflow is something to find especially appreciable on warm summer days.

Beyond that, if you find yourself stuck in an unexpected situation you can usually walk around in boxers and not feel like it's all that weird or "indecent", depending on the brand of boxers of course.
But seriously, I don't think it's necessary for a girl to be embarrassed about wearing boxers and feel that they are wearing something "frumpy" etc..

Legitimately, they carry their own appeal AND they are a fair bit easier for "impromptu rendezvous" than other types of undergarments.

Plus, that's decidedly a kind of added win for women, because men can't pull off wearing womens underwear in quite the same way that a woman can pull of wearing mens underwear. So you may as well own it like a champ! ;D

Anywho, I think this is probably the longest conversation about underwear I've ever had in a comment section, or really anywhere online, so I'll wrap it up here.

Well, when it put it that way it sounds like despite my best efforts... it was a pretty "scantily clad" excuse.....after awhile my guise had become "thread bare" and was starting to "unravel at the seams". I think the best thing to do would be for me to take this line of conversation, stash it deep in a set of "drawers" and treat it as an "unmentionable" subject never to be spoken of again. XD XD XD

Being skinny isn't necessary per se. I suffered from rashes every summer but after some years i stopped getting them. Maybe cuz i lost some fat from my thighs. I'm not skinny though.

Speaking as a male, I've had girlfriends tell me this as well. In fact, I would expect they are probably even more comfortable for women than men because girls don't have "extra appendages" needing to be adjusted continually or get in the way of the center seam.

Side note: I also understand that from these same sources that bras are quite uncomfortable in many circumstances, so please don't take my commentary as saying girls have it better, they don't, I'm aware both sides have their clothing conflagrations to deal with. ;)
